The Pet First Aid Class

You don't like to think about it--but it can happen. Your beloved older pet begins choking on a chew toy--and can't stop. Your kitty has a sudden allergic reaction. You're on a hike with your happy-go-lucky dog--and he fractures a leg.

Would you know how to respond as effectively as possible until you could get your pet to the vet?

If not, then this Red Cross Pet First Aid class is for you. It will teach you how to prevent, prepare for and respond to a wide range of emergencies, until you can get to the vet. For example, you'll learn to:

* Find vital signs

* Determine when/how to move an injured pet
* Muzzle, bandage and splint
* Treat wounds, bleeding and shock
* Carry out rescue breathing
* Respond to choking, allergic reactions and         sudden illness

This class is fully hands-on; throughout, you’ll practice your new skills on special pet mannequins. No need to bring your pet to class.

Join PugetPets founder and top-rated instructor Ruth Zaslow, for what many have called: "an upbeat class on a serious topic."
